Went to some websites, closed firefox and let it sit for over 24hrs Wiseoldman on january 19, 2011, 04:18:57 pm the only other security software we use is outpost firewall but i know that isnt the problem as i have had that disabled fully and just avast running and it wont access any websites until i disable the web shield in advast then it works fine And ashwebsv.exe stayed connected to the sites the entire time

I replaced avg with avast and it cleaned more off but some problems still lingered including complete blocking of some websites and hanging when attempting web searches using anything (yahoo, google, etc.) The problem seems to have originated with either a trojan.agent or more likely because it showed up most recently, trojan.hanam. A website which i manage has been affected by some virus, obviously a trojan or malware Everytime i try to access the website the usual way by google or some other browser, i get a warning message and the site is blocked.
