I unistalled then reinstalled ubisoft connect then before running the installer i right clicked it in downloads and troubleshooted it I successfully copied my rainbow six siege steam files to the ubisoft connect folder and ran the game on ubisoft connect with my new account It was a compatibility problem or something stupid idk
Either way after the troubleshooter fixed it i just saved the settings when it gave me the option and now it works perfectly
