I have been reading lots about it and no one has come to a definite conclusion as to what actually causes it Cures the common fault causing complete loss of all instrument function. I will do some more digging and testing and see if i can determine the reason for no power to some things.

Hi everyone, i have a 2014 audi a3 1.4l cpta 7 speed 0am transmission with that has a intermittent issue Sometimes when coming to the car it wont shift into gears, there is fault stored saying lost communication with tcm. I have here at my workshop audi a3 8v with tcm fault lost communication on engine module and diag wont connect to tcm module This car wont start and stuck in p and blinking but sometimes start and runs without problem
I checked all power supply and lines can everything seems fine Probably bad tcm module on mechatronic right??
